HOW TO STUDY THE LESSONS
You must understand the lessons are prepared using the Inductive Bible Study Method. In other words, each lesson is created in such a way the individual student may arrive at a general conclusion or recognition of particular facts as evidence. This is done in the hope of enlightening each student of the settings, events, circumstances, and historical background surrounding the documenting of scripture, to prove and validate a topic, subject, theme, or statement being presented from the Word of God. Through this knowledge, the student should be able to effectively understand the proper context of scripture. They should be able also, to relate scripture as authoritative reality or truth and act upon it in present day circumstances, life similarities and experiences.
1. First, the Bible student should have a good Study Bible with clear, but actuate translation. I recommend the New King James Version of the Full Life Study Bible.
2. A good Bible Should has a good Bible Concordance, I recommend either the Cruden's Complete Concordance or the Nelson's Three-in-One Reference Companion.
3. The Student should have a good Pen, Highlighter or Marker (yellow), and Notebook.
4. Lastly, always pray for Biblical understanding or Spiritual revelation, say this Prayer from Ephesians, Chapter One. Father God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give to me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, Let the eyes of my understanding being enlightened; that I may know what is the hope of Your calling, what is the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of Your power toward us who believe, according to the working of Your mighty power which You worked in Christ when You raised Him from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And You put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all, in Jesus Name, Amen.
5. Read the Lesson Text Scriptures first.
6. Then read the content of the lesson and reference given Bible Scripture to validate the topic or subject being taught. Depend on the Holy Spirit in your heart to guide you through the lesson , never take anyone's word for it, discover the Word of God for yourself. Remember, these Bible Lessons are only guidelines for study, the Holy Ghost reveals God’s Truth to us according to our personal levels of faith in a particular area.
May God Bless You in the Studying of His Word, in Jesus Name, Amen.
